A Scranton woman faces a felony theft charge.

According to court documents, 43 year-old Donna Diekmann is charged with a Class D Felony for second degree theft.

It stems from an investigation on January 7th that Diekmann allegedly stole her vehicle from Rudy’s Service in Scranton. The business had made some repairs to Diekmann’s vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, and it was to remain at the business while she was paying off the bill. The business owner said Diekmann still had $1,078.81 remaining.

An arrest warrant was issued and a deputy arrested her in the 900 block of Grant Street in Scranton before 2pm on Tuesday.

Diekmann was booked and released from the Greene County jail.
