As we’ve reported, the Iowa Department of Education has released the School Report Cards for the last academic year.

According to the report, Perry elementary and middle schools are classified as acceptable, while the high school received a needs improvement rating.

All three buildings received good results for attendance, ranging from 93 to 96 percent.  Proficiency rates range from 56 percent at the high school to 70 percent at the middle school.

In the overall ranking, the high school is down slightly over last year with 56.6 points, the middle school received 57.5 points and the elementary school received 64.5 points.
