A Perry man accused of killing three people in October appeared in court Friday.

According to court documents, a limited speedy trial waiver for 25 year-old Carlos Hernandez-Ventura was approved and the jury trial has been rescheduled for March 13th.

A no-contact order that was issued November 2nd has been cancelled and a second pre-trial conference will take place February 17th.

Hernandez-Ventura has pled not guilty to three counts of first degree murder.  He’s accused of killing 34 year-old Lourdes Flor De Leake, 14 year-old Melany Elizabeth Barraza and 78 year-old Juan Jimanez Tejeda with a machete inside a Perry home on October 30th.
