Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 10.44.58 AMThe Perry Industrial Park has been recertified by the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

To be certified as a General Industrial Park, the area must be at least 100 total acres and have at least one developable site.  The Perry site is a total of 153 acres, with 134 of them being developable.  It also meets several other qualifications including being available for sale or lease to prospective industrial investors, zoned for industrial use or having the ability to be rezoned within a certain amount of time, located outside the 100-year flood zone, free of recognized environmental conditions, endangered species and historical significance and access to utility service, among others.

The site was initially declared a certified site in 2015.  The recertification expires July 13, 2020.
