perry logoThe Perry City Council met in regular session Monday. 

At the meeting they proclaimed January 22nd through the 28th as School Choice Week and designated April 28th as Arbor Day. 

The second pay request for the North Street construction project was approved in the amount of $244,942.  The second pay request for the sanitary sewer cleaning project was also approved in the amount of $17,558 and the second pay request for the airport runway rehabilitation project was approved in the amount of $11,961. 

Finance Officer Susie Moorhead then shared a budget process update, stating that several departments have already presented their initial requests to her and City Administrator Sven Peterson.  The Council will hold the first budget work session later this month. 

Finally, an agreement between the City of Perry and the Fullhart/Carnegie Charitable Trust, doing business as Hometown Heritage, was approved for operational management of the Carnegie Library Museum.
