Raccoon Valley Bank warns customers of a scam they’ve received calls about.

The bank says anyone who is contacted by someone who claims to be from the Social Security Administration or bank should assume it’s a scam.

The frauds are calling victims in an attempt to seal their identity or money from their bank accounts.

Raccoon Valley Bank says everyone is a potential victim of fraud and you should never give out personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, mother’s maiden name or bank account numbers over the phone.
