With a new year, the Greene County Chamber invites all area businesses, organizations and individuals to join the Chamber.

Office Coordinator Sheilah McGregor Pound says there are a variety of levels of membership that cater to everyone and every group. Plus, being a member gives you ways to participate in the decisions that drives the Chamber.

“You get to be a voting member. You can be a part of the committees to help organize and chair some specific committees for the events that will be happening throughout the year.”

Memberships start at the individual level with individuals, senior citizens, part-time organizations and businesses, through the copper to emerald business levels. Pound adds that different levels allow for different kinds of benefits.

“For example our golf outing, you may receive a sponsorship for the holes. Bell Tower Festival, there’s special perks that go with the membership levels. You have free access to a booth at Bell Tower Festival, it doesn’t cost you anything. There’s different benefits for each one. Of course, you have your radio spots, which are very important.”
