Jefferson Rotary grant applications are now available.
Applications are available to Greene County non-profit organizations that benefit areas of peace, conflict resolution and other social issues, fighting disease and promoting health, providing clean water/environmental issues, economic and community development, and youth/education and literacy. Organizations do not have to have a 501(c)(3) designation.
Grants will not be given to organizations and projects for ongoing or operational expenses. Other projects that do not qualify are those that promote religious or political viewpoints. A Rotarian must also sponsor the request.
Deadline to apply is by February 1st. A copy of the application, as well as the guidelines, can be found below.
Last year, Jefferson Rotary gave away $32,000 to 19 organizations and projects. Grants funds are through the Rotary’s annual auction and dinner event that was held in November.
