IHSSA LogoToday is the Iowa High School Speech Association’s large group contest.

Several Greene County students are performing at Perry High School. Greene County High School is sending 33 students in six events. The events include one act play, radio news, choral reading, readers theater, short film and group improvisation. Paton-Churdan has ten students performing in two events, including short film and group improvisation.

In order to advance to state, the events must receive an overall division I-rating.

The public is invited to watch the performances. Admission charge is $3 per person.

The state competition will take place on February 4th.
