A deputy removed a dead deer from the roadway at 220th and Granite.

A deputy investigated a single vehicle car accident at 305th Street and Quest Avenue. Chelsea Gardner of Perry was traveling north on Quest Avenue and went to break for the intersection. Chelsea Gardner was driving a 2007 Ford Freestyle car. The car was a total lost. Chelsea rolled the vehicle in the North Ditch. Chelsea was cited for failure to register. Jefferson Fire and Greene County EMS assisted with the accident.

A deputy checked on a vehicle that had went into the ditch and made it out safely onto a field drive on N Avenue and 280th Street.

A deputy checked on a broke down vehicle at W Avenue and 220th Street. The driver had assistance on the way.

A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on 220th near X Avenue and was unable to locate a vehicle in the ditch.

The Sheriff conducted traffic control on 240th Street for a County truck that spun out on the ice and was blocking a portion of the roadway on the curves coming down the hill.

A deputy assisted Greene County Ems with medical call in the 1600 block of K Avenue.

A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1100 block of South 8th Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department in the 500 block of North Chestnut Street, Jefferson.

A deputy investigated a gas drive off in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
