Greene County RamsThe Iowa Department of Education recently released their School Report Card results for 2016.

The Iowa School Report Card is a rating system based on eight categories. Ratings are then given to individual buildings which ranges from the top end with exceptional to the low end with priority.

Greene County High School saw their rating drop from commendable in 2015 to acceptable rating with 65.2 points out of a possible 100 points, in 2016. The middle school stayed the same with their overall rating of acceptable and the elementary school improved their rating from acceptable to commendable in 2016.pc rocket

As for Paton-Churdan, the high and middle school remained the same with an acceptable rating, while the elementary school earned the highest rating possible, exceptional, with 83.4 points. Principal Annie Smith says that’s the top two percent in the state for elementary schools.
