There’s still time to purchase a ticket to this year’s Greene County Chamber annual dinner.

Office Coordinator Sheilah McGregor Pound says the event is scheduled for Sunday, January 29th at the Greene Room events center at Wild Rose in Jefferson. The evening starts with a social half-hour at 5:30pm, followed by the business meeting at 6pm. Pound describes what happens during the business meeting.

“We elect our officers (for 2017). Any major changes in the by-laws or something like that, that has to be voted on by the Chamber membership, is taken care of here. It’s kind of a nice review of what the Chamber has done in the past year. Of course we will be awarding the milestone memberships. We will be giving away a 25-year one this year, so that’s kind of good.”

Following the business meeting will be a buffet meal at 7pm, catered by Wild Rose. The evening rounds out with the entertainment with Z*Stonnish, a hypnotist and comedian.

Tickets are $25 per person and the deadline to RSVP is by Tuesday. Otherwise, tickets will be $30 at the door.
