According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, 62 year-old Rosemary Connolly’s family called 911 on Sunday after not hearing from her for several days and being concerned for her welfare.

When deputies arrived at her home in the 25000 block of O Avenue that evening, they saw Connolly’s vehicle parked at the residence.  There was no answer at the front door but deputies heard dogs and music coming from inside the home.

The back door of the home was wide open, deputies entered the house and found Connolly incapacitated.  She reported that she fell and hurt herself and it is estimated that she was lying there alone for several days.

Dallas County EMS responded to the scene and Connolly was taken to a Des Moines hospital for treatment.  No foul play is expected.
