Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard warns motorists of slick roads this morning. Leonard tells Raccoon Valley Radio that P58 south of Perry is especially slick. A Dallas County deputy was investigating a vehicle in the ditch when another car slid into the patrol vehicle, causing minor damage. Leonard says the county road crews are doing a good job of trying to keep up with the freezing rain but he encourages drivers to be extra careful in the low areas and on bridges.
