BRR 2017 Logo2We’re now about a month out from the 40th Bike Ride to Rippey.

Registration went live recently and Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says dozens have already signed up to ride.

“Social media is where we push a lot of this BRR stuff now and it’s really fun to watch how people are sharing it and people are excited.”

Wilson says the ride is all about tradition and he’s excited that a longstanding one will continue this year.

“One of the most important ones, in my opinion, was Jack Finneseth counting the riders for us for many, many years.  I spoke to his son, Scott Finneseth, and the torch is going to be passed.  So Scott Finneseth will be graciously volunteering a handful of hours on BRR and counting the riders.  That’s what the Finneseth family is all about, the volunteerism is amazing.  I love tradition.  I love BRR.  It is the 40th so let’s celebrate huge.”

Preregistration is $25, or $32 if you want breakfast. This includes a long sleeve shirt, a commemorative pin for the first 300 registrants, a chance to win $500 in Perry Bucks, a hot chocolate break along the way, one-day admission to the McCreary Community Building, sag wagon and discounts from local merchants.

To sign up, stop by the Chamber or visit the link in this story on our website.
