An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Des Moines child.

Twelve year-old Morgan Griffin has been missing since December 28th. The abductor is 35 year-old Mary A. Purcell. They were last seen in a brown 2003 Chevrolet suburban with Iowa license plate CRY371. Griffin is five-foot and three-inches tall and weighs about 140-pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair and is of caucasian and asian descent. Purcell is five-foot and two-inches tall and weighs about 150-pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair and is caucasian.

They are believed to be headed to either Oregon or Minnesota.
