Tuesday’s scheduled basketball games between Greene County and PCM (Monroe) were weathered out, so the Rams now turn their attention to the CMB (Maxwell) Raiders. The Rams host CMB on Friday, Jan. 13 in the middle school gym in Jefferson.

The Rams played the Raiders in Baxter on November 29 and split the two games. CMB won 40-24 in the girls’ contest with Greene County scoring a season high in winning the boys’ game, 94-47.

The Greene County girls will look for a more consistent offense than they had in Baxter, scoring 12 points in the first quarter, then just 12 the rest of the game.

Coach Chris Nelson’s Rams were on fire the first time they met the Raiders by scoring 35 first quarter points, 66 in the opening half, and cruising to the victory.

Friday’s games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at six o’clock and the boys to follow.

Greene County Activities Director Dean Lansman told Raccoon Valley Radio no makeup date with PCM had been agreed to as of Tuesday. Those are the first games this season the Rams have had postponed.
