The ADM Tiger wrestling team was back on the mats this past Saturday taking on a competitive 22 team field at the Ed Winger Classic in Urbandale. The 22 team field was comprised of 5 ranked teams including class 3A’s top ranked Southeast Polk high school along with second ranked West Des Moines, 6th ranked Glenwood, 9th ranked Indianola, and 10th ranked North Scott.

It was a hard fought day for the Tigers who ended the day with 23 team points placing them in 21st place. ADM had two individuals earn top 8 finishes including the likes of 106 lb Andrew Flora defending his class 2A 7th place ranking by earning 3rd place Saturday and his 31st win on the season. The second Tiger on the list was 126 lbs Brodrick Schmidt with an overall 8th place finish.

Next on the docket for the Tiger wrestling team will be a quick turn around tomorrow heading to Boone high school to take on Boone, Woodward-Granger, and Perry high schools. The meet will kick off at 5:30 pm.
