The Perry Public Library Monthly Book Club will hold it’s February book discussion on Tuesday, February 21, at 1:00 pm in the Clarion Room at the Security State Bank Building, 1102 Willis Ave in Perry. The group will discuss Stolen From The Garden: The Kidnapping of Virginia Piper by William Swanson. Newcomers are welcome. The discussion leader will be Library Director Mary Murphy.
VITA Services will again be offered at the Guthrie County Extension Office every Thursday evening through April 13th. This service is for low and moderate income families with an income of $57,000 or less, and only on Basic Federal and State Returns. The Veterans Groups in Jefferson will be serving a old-fashioned cream chicken over biscuits dinner tonight from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the V.F.W Hall, located on the east side of the square in Jefferson.
