A Churdan teen suffered minor injuries as a result from a rollover accident Sunday night.

Greene County Sheriff Steve Haupert says at 8:51pm, two deputies, Churdan Fire and Rescue and the Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded to the one vehicle crash in the 1300 block of 130th Street.

Sixteen year-old Casey Marie Richards was heading west on 130th Street when she lost control of her 2001 Ford Explorer on the loose gravel and the vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled onto the passenger side. Richards was taken to Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries and another juvenile female passenger was uninjured. The Explorer was considered to be a total loss. Both girls were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

Richards was also cited for failure to maintain control.
