A Guthrie County teenager was injured in a single vehicle crash north of Panora Wednesday night.

Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office deputy Steven Henry tells Raccoon Valley Radio the 15-year-old male was traveling northbound on Highway 4, past 180th Street, when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled into the ditch.

 

Henry adds the boy was transported by ambulance to Guthrie County Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The boy’s grandfather, who arrived at the scene of the crash, says he was on his way home from football practice when the wreck occurred.
