The Greene County Fair ended on Monday with the junior premium auction.

The Greene County Chamber increased their contribution to the auction this year by opening it up to members and non-members alike. They raised $3,050, which was used to commend the work that the 4-H’ers did for their projects at the fair.

The top level of sponsorship was Grand Champion at $250 which included A & W Family Restaurant, Jefferson Kiwanis Club and the Teusch family. Another 12 businesses and individuals supported the $100 Champion level and seven businesses were at the $75 level for the Blue Ribbon.

Board President Ora Stevens would like to thank all those for participating with the Chamber in the premium auction and for all those 4-H’ers who were recognized for their efforts on Monday.
