Why head out of town Monday when you can enjoy some traditional family 4th of July fun in Perry?
Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says the town celebration has a lot to offer for both locals and visitors alike.
“To me, it’s a small town tradition and the community gets so into it. It’s the cultural diversity that I think makes it very unique and special but also just the history and the tradition. So we encourage everyone to come out, participate, be safe and have a healthy Fourth of July.”
The parade takes place at 10am on Willis Avenue and the celebration ends with fireworks at dusk.
