Perry residents will have the opportunity to dispose of used tires next month.
The City of Perry is hosting a tire collection event at the recycle center on Saturday, July 16th.
There is no charge to dispose of the first five car tires, and each one is a dollar after that. Large truck and tractor tires can also be disposed of at a cost of $5 each. All tires must be removed from the rims prior to drop off and tires from businesses will not be accepted.
The event takes place from 8am until noon. If you have questions, call City Hall at 465-2481.
