The Dallas County Conservation Board and Iowa State University students have started the second phase of their economic impact survey.

The project is a joint effort between the Conservation Board and ISU’s CyBIZ Lab.  The students are conducting field interviews on the trail, concentrating specifically on trailhead areas during the evenings and weekends.

The goal of the project is to use the information gathered to help enhance the quality, economic value and tourism opportunities of the trail and associated communities.

Over the next few weeks, trail users are asked to participate in the project by working with the students and sharing their opinions.
