The defending state champion Panorama boys golf team is heading back to state. The Panthers are ranked #1 in Class 2A in the most recent list received by the Iowa Golf Coaches Association, and ace golfer Will Babcock is ranked 3rd in the state. Head coach Hal Rossow says the Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge is a tough state venue. “The front side is back and forth and straight. The back nine is back in the woods with lots of potential trouble. 90 degree dog legs in both directions, an elevated tee over a creek to a smaller green. There are a lot of tough holes.”

The state meet takes place Friday and Saturday.
