The deadline is coming up for all Guthrie County 4-H’ers to register their livestock online for the county fair.

Office Coordinator Vicki Frohling says all beef, swine, sheep, goats, horse, ponies, dogs, poultry, rabbits and pets need to be registered by May 15th.

Two seniors at Adair-Casey High School have been awarded $1,500 Excellence in Agriculture Scholarships from Landus Cooperative.

Zoey Dinkla and Shelby Soper were selected for the award by the West Central Cooperative Board of Directors before they merged with Farmer’s Cooperative to become Landus Cooperative.

CEO Milan Kucerak says recipients of the scholarships are identified as the future leaders of the agriculture industry.
