A deputy was advised by a resident in the 400 block of N Avenue of providing a tree service with a down payment and then services were not rendered. The deputy spoke with the owner of the tree service to try and help negotiate an acceptable outcome.

A Jefferson Police Officer assisted a deputy with checking an occupied vehicle that was parked along the roadway on N Avenue, north of Jefferson. The car had left the area before the officer’s arrival.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of 12th Street South in Grand Junction to help mediate a verbal altercation between neighbors.

A deputy, Greene County Emergency Medical Services  and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue all were dispatched to the 2300 block of 170th Street for a reported unattended death.

Tuesday, May 24th

A deputy was out of position and unable to locate a reported erratic driver on 130th Street near the Boone-Greene County line.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
