Perry City Council to Set Cemetery Prices and Discuss Annexation

The Perry City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

Items on the agenda include approval of pay requests for the road resurfacing and Highway 144 and Willis Avenue intersection projects, approval of a change order for the intersection project and setting a public hearing in regards to the fiscal year 2016 budget amendment.

The Council will then set prices for the sale of interment spaces at the Violet Hill Cemetery setting a public hearing in regards to voluntary annexation and discussion on a request for proposals for operation of the Caboose at Caboose Park.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.

Dallas County Supervisors to Discuss Issuing Drivers Licenses

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday.

Items on the agenda include discussion on vending supply storage, consideration of a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Department of Corrections and consideration of a contract renewal with DECAT restorative justice.

The Supervisors will then appoint a Van Meter Township trustee, discuss landscaping at the courthouse and human services campus, update the north campus construction projects, and discuss space planning and county issuing drivers licenses.

The meeting takes place at 9am in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
