Some renovations to the grounds at the Guthrie County Courthouse could complicate parking there this week.

General Services Manager Ron Allen tells Raccoon Valley Radio there will be some places to park away from the courthouse. “Parking is going to be wherever you can find it this week. We’ve got some parking out front, but that will really be minimal with employees and other people coming in. Parking at the library and some of the side streets would work, but you’ll have to walk a bit. The north doors will be open this week, which they usually aren’t, so people can walk up that way. We also have handicap parking construction happening up near the building, and soon a handicap ramp and platform will be constructed on the southeast side of the building.”

Allen expects renovations to continue for another two or three days, weather permitting.
