A new field agronomist has been hired to partner with Guthrie County Extension and Outreach.
Michael Witt will be based out of the Extension office in Guthrie Center, but also serve the areas of Audubon, Crawford, Carroll and Shelby counties. His areas of expertise include agronomic evaluation of corn and soybeans, weed management and integrated pest management programs.
Witt holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture education from Iowa State University and is also finishing up a master’s degree in Agronomy.
