Larry Findlay of Grimes was traveling west near the 117 mile marker of Interstate 80 when a vehicle driven by Lonnie Perry of Des Moines started to hydroplane, losing control and striking Findlay’s vehicle and also striking the guard wire fence.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Findlay’s vehicle estimated at $10000.00 and $2000.00 to Perry’s.  Perry was cited for failure to maintain control.
