The road to the state tournament begins tonight in Anita for the Guthrie Center girls basketball team. The Tigers wrap up the regular season with a record of 4-16, a major improvement from the zero-win season they experienced last year. They will be facing CAM this evening in a first-round regional game. Head coach Jordan Waddell says despite the Tigers being underdogs, the game should be competitive. “CAM’s a pretty good team with a decent record. Overall, though, I think the game should be pretty close.”
Tip off scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at the high school gym in Anita.
