Dallas County Hospital is being nationally recognized for quality, patient perspectives and financial strength.

The iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Office of Rural Health recognizes hospitals who are in the top quartile among all acute care hospitals in the nation. Dallas County Hospital is one of only four hospitals in Iowa to be recognized for three of the four categories.

Interim Chief Executive Officer Donna Vandehaar says they are extremely honored to be recognized. “This award is truly a testament to our entire team of physicians, nurses and staff.  Without them, Dallas County Hospital would not be the healthcare leader that we are today!”

Hospitals are ranked based on the Hospital Strength INDEX.  iVantage Senior Vice President Michael Topchik says the top quartile performers commit to continuous performance improvement and honorees should take great pride in the recognition.
