One person received minor injuries in a helicopter accident in rural Guthrie County Saturday.

According to the Stuart Police department, officers and first responders with the Stuart Fire and Emergency Medical Services departments responded to the report of a crash near the intersection of Victory and White Pole Road.

Police say the pilot reported a mechanical problem while flying and the helicopter crashed into a corn field.

The pilot was able to walk away from the crash.
