The Dallas County Conservation Board invites everyone to a special program on rocks and minerals later this month.
The roadshow and lecture program takes place at the Voas Earth Science Museum in the Voas Nature Area on Sunday, August 16th.
It’s a one of a kind event that offers attendees the chance to bring rocks and minerals to be identified, while learning more about Midwest geology and walking through the natural areas of Voas.
The program will begin at 1:30pm and there’s no cost to attend.
