K107-GenericApproximately 1,700 Guthrie County voters cast their ballots Tuesday in deciding that they like their County Supervisors elected the way they currently are. Although ballots need to be canvassed by the Board of Supervisors before they are deemed official, the Guthrie County Auditor’s office reports that 924 votes came in for plan 3, which keeps Supervisors elected only by voters in their district. A bipartisan committee pushed for plan 2, which would keep residential districts for Supervisors but have them elected at large by all voters in the County. Plan 2 received 774 votes.
