RVR logoThose who traveled along Highway 141 just west of Perry this morning may have noticed some poor or little visibility.

Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds tells Raccoon Valley Radio the smoke in the air stems from a resident burning brush on his property south of the city’s recycling building.  The combination of the smoke from the controlled burn and the fog this morning made it tough for motorists to see for several hours.

First responders were also called to an anhydrous leak Wednesday morning.  Hinds says it was a simple loose valve at the new Farmers Cooperative facility north of town off Highway 144.  The problem was quickly fixed.
