Three Perry women face felony charges after allegedly beating another woman outside her home earlier this month.
According to Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn, the three suspects went to the victim’s house in the 1600 block of West 4th Street on July 14th and confronted her outside the residence. The trio then allegedly knocked the victim to the ground and repeatedly punched her in the face and body, causing injuries to her head, legs and torso.
Part of the incident was captured on video by a witness at the scene. As the result of an investigation by the Perry Police Department, warrants were issued for 19 year-old Beatrice Abang-Ntuen, 22 year-old Danielle Abang-Ntuen and 44 year-old Wonetah Einfeldt for Class D Felony charges of Willful Injury.
Beatrice faces several additional charges for attempting to shut the door on officers, resisting and threatening to punch them as they were arresting her in the 1000 block of Dewey Street in Perry on Monday. She is also charged with Interference with Official Acts and Assault on an Officer.
In addition, another female juvenile that was at the residence when officers arrived also assisted Beatrice in attempting to block the doorway, allegedly kicked an officer in the chest and threatened to strike him several times with her fists before she was handcuffed. This resulted in several cuts on the officer’s elbow and damage to his microphone cord and shirt. The juvenile was referred to juvenile court and released later that night.
Beatrice and Einfeldt are both being held in the Dallas County jail on $7,000 and $5,000 bonds respectively. Danielle is in the Polk County jail on a $5,000 bond.
