The high school softball playoffs are just 3 days away for many of Guthrie County’s teams. Thanks to the Class 1-A scheduling, though, at least 2 of the 3 local teams will be eliminated after the second round. Guthrie Center hosts Adair-Casey in first round action Monday night at 7 p.m. The winner will face the winner of Coon Rapids-Bayard and Newell-Fonda in Fonda Wednesday night.

In Class 2-A, West Central Valley heads to Woodward-Granger Monday night, with a first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. Panorama has a first round bye, and will head to Ogden for a 7 p.m. game Wednesday.
