A popular poet and a musician will provide an evening of entertainment for all in the Perry area later this month.
The evening starts at 5pm Thursday, July 16th in the Cellar at La Poste with a performance by Coon Rapids singer and songwriter Chad Elliot.
The event continues with James Autry who will do a reading of his latest book On Paying Attention: New and Selected Poems at 7pm.
Hometown Heritage, a local organization that aims to build community capacity and development through the study of communication and celebrate small town life through social history and the arts, is sponsoring the event.
There’s no cost to attend and the event is open to the public. Food and drink will also be available for purchase during La Poste’s weekly Handle Bar Happy Hour that evening.
