Stuart’s Fire Chief is recommending a maintenance plan for the City’s outdoor emergency sirens. Chief Michael Renslow requested a maintenance agreement for the aging sirens at last week’s City Council meeting. Stuart has two sirens located on the north and south sides of the city. Last year’s storm season brought three tornadoes within several miles of Stuart.
