Perry High School students will be all dressed up to dance the night away with their friends and classmates this weekend at prom.

This year’s theme is The Great Gatsby and the festivities start with a walk through and photos in the Perry Performing Arts Center at 6pm.  Students will then make their way to the Lake Robbins Ballroom where they will enjoy dancing, food, a photo booth, caricature artist and casino games until 11:30.

Following the dance is the annual after prom party at the McCreary Community Building.  Activities will include a game truck, green screen, inflatables and a hypnotist, with the party finishing up at 4am.

Once again, the Perry Crime Stoppers and Perry Police Department are collaborating to make sure students make the right decisions and avoid consuming drugs and alcohol.

A $500 reward is being offered for information identifying locations of any underage alcohol related parties that can be verified by law intervention.  Rewards will also be paid to anyone who helps identify individuals that are providing alcohol to minors.
