Friday, April 17th

The Chief Deputy Sheriff investigated a vehicle in Grand Junction that was reported to have some type of Law Enforcement markings still visible on the car and that is now owned by a civilian.

A deputy issued a citation to a dog owner in the 600 block of West Main Street in Grand Junction for allowing her dog to continually run at large.

A deputy was advised of a juvenile female that had ridden a school bus to Scranton without her parents’ permission. She had ridden the bus with a friend and was later picked up by her father.

Dispatchers at the Greene County Law Enforcement Center were advised that a female had gotten into the water at Henderson Park and was at first unable to get back to shore. The Jefferson Fire Department was dispatched, then advised to disregard as the female had gotten back to shore safely.

A deputy was advised and investigated  a suspicious white pickup truck pulling a bumper hitch livestock trailer near a feedlot in the 1400 block of 215th Street.

A deputy was advised of a pickup truck that had experienced mechanical problems and was on the traveled portion of Highway 4 just into Guthrie County. The deputy helped with traffic control until the truck was removed from the roadway.

Saturday, April 18th

A deputy spoke with a Paton resident about a harassment concern.

Sunday, April 19th

A deputy was advised of an abandoned vehicle in a pasture in the 1700 block of 170th Street. The owner was contacted and advised the deputy that the vehicle would be removed within several days.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
