Tickets for the upcoming Community Players of Greene County’s performance of Pools Paradise are now on sale.

CPGC President Clay Ross says tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens for the performances on March 6th through the 8th.  All shows will be at the Greene County High School auditorium.  A new feature is purchasing gift certificates that are good to any of the Players shows.  You can buy them through the Players email at cpgcia@gmail.com.

The comedy, written by Philip King, is a three-act show that’s under the direction of Josh Tuel.  He is assisted by Linda Nichols.  It is about a group of people who get involved in a soccer betting pool and one of the characters misplaces the potential winning ticket.  The cast includes:  Teresa Cross as Penelope Toop; Ida is played by Anna Pound (for one performance) and by Danielle Johnson (for one performance); Jim Von Dolteren plays Reverend Lionel Toop; Lindy Lehman is Miss Skillon; Reverend Arthur Humphrey is portrayed by Rob Hoyt; the Bishop of Lax is played by Darren Jackson; and a Players debut with Austin Wailes as Willie Briggs.

Ross points out that there are several others that work as the production and tech staff.  At each show, they will also announce their upcoming fall and next spring’s productions.

Tickets are available now at the People’s Trust and Savings Bank locations for the 7pm performances on Friday and Saturday and at Home State Bank for the Sunday 2pm matinee show.  You can also reserve your tickets by emailing them.
