Spring break in the Perry School District is coming up in just a couple weeks and the Perry Public Library is offering a variety of programs for students to take part in.
Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel says there’s something planned every day, the week of March 16th.
“Monday we’re going to have a teddy bear sleepover. Then on Tuesday, because it is St. Patrick’s Day, we will be putting on the green and doing our own little St. Pat’s party. And then Wednesday a former teacher has authored a book called “Bounce” and a former student of hers illustrated it, so they will be coming and reading the book, and telling a little bit about the process. Then on Friday, for those third through fifth graders, we’re going to have a Lego Lab and focus on dinosaurs and dragons.”
All programs are free of charge. For more information, stop by the library or call 465-3569.
