The Perry City Council will meet tonight in regular session. Notable items on the agenda include a report from City Administrator Butch Niebuhr, as well as comments from the Mayor and the Council. Additionally, a special presentation will be given by the State Auditor’s office on the 2014 fiscal year. A public hearing will take place for the proposed 2016 fiscal year budget, followed by a resolution to approve the budget. The Council will consider a pay request for the 908 Willis HVAC improvement project. New Business items include approving the 2014 fiscal year audit report, approving a perpetual easement with Interstate Power and Light Company, approving an HVAC maintenance agreement with Wolin Mechanical, approving a Perry Area Swim Team Bock Family Foundation Grant application, approving a set wage for the City’s Assistant City Administrator and approving a roster addition to the City’s Volunteer Fire Department. The meeting begins at 6 pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
