The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Des Moines Area Community College for a customer service workshop later this month.

Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says it’s still in the planning stages but should prove to be a beneficial for people in all industries.

“The idea here is to not only show the importance of customer service in the more obvious sense but also in the more broad sense, as being ambassadors for the community.  So you might be front line desk at Kum and Go or the (Recreation) Center or something like that, but your attitude and your interaction with customers and clientele impacts the overall community, in a huge way.”

The program takes place Thursday, March 26th at the Town Craft Building. More information on how to sign up will be released at a later date.
