While January started with above normal amounts of snow, it has been mostly dry the last couple weeks.
According to the National Weather Service, Guthrie Center and Jefferson received just trace amounts of precipitation this week, while no snow or rain was recorded in Perry.
That leaves Perry’s total for the month at 0.36 inches so far, Jefferson has received 0.28 inches and Guthrie Center has seen just 0.22 inches.
Normal monthly totals for the local area range between 0.82 and 0.93 inches.
