Several offices are closed the remainder of the work week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
In Perry all city offices, the Perry Water Works and Perry Public Library are closed today and tomorrow. The McCreary Community Building is closed today and will be open shortened hours on Friday from 1-5pm.
The Adel City Hall is also closed today and tomorrow, along with Dallas County offices, post offices and most financial institutions.

With the exception of emergency services, nearly all governmental offices will be closed today for the Thanksgiving Holiday.The Guthrie County Courthouse is closed today and tomorrow, as are the City Halls for Panora, Guthrie Center and Stuart.
All libraries in the County are closed today, as well.

Today is Thanksgiving and lots of businesses and offices will be closed in Greene County.
The Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Chamber, Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Community Center, Greene County Extension, the Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office are all closed today.
The Jefferson Library staff reminds everyone that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
The courthouse, City Hall, Chamber office and the Extension office will all remain closed tomorrow as well.
